mmmmm! Homemade Pasta!

Hey Everyone!

Recently My Step-Mom and I created super simple, super delicious pasta from scratch.
This recipe was shockingly easy and super fun to make!
All you need is egg, flour and a pasta rolling/cutting machine. We got our pasta machine from
'Crate & Barrel' for only $79.99 (once you taste this pasta, the money is worth it!)
Here is how we did it:

-It is two eggs for every cup of flour. We also made this in two separate batches. We had six people so I would defiantly recommend one batch for every three people.

One batch:
-Two cups of flour
-Four eggs

Directions:
-Dump your flour in the bottom in a pile at the bottom of a medium/large bowl.
-create a 'well' or hole in the middle of the flour pile.
-Crack your eggs into the hole and begin mixing them with a fork or whisk. Be carful not to mix any flour into the eggs yet
-Then keep mixing, but a flour little by little.
-Once the eggs and flour are combined, you may need to add more flour if it is sticky, or more water if it is too dry.
-Then kneed the dough for 10-15 minutes.
-After that, roll your dough into a ball and cover it in plastic wrap. Let it sit for 15 minutes in a room temperature place.
-Once the 15 minutes has passed, used your rolling machine to roll and cut your pasta. I am not sure how your machine works, so that's up to you.
-Then, let your pasta dry on a thin towel for 20ish minutes. I used this time to make a sauce.
-Boil and TA-DA!

I really hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did.
Bon appetite!

New Blog

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to this little- how do I say, 'work in progress'
I Really wanted to make this blog to share my ideas and cooking experiences with the world.
I literally feel like a granny who cannot figure out how to make this blog look better, I had it looking really good - until it crashed. Yay for slow internet!
Anyways, I am really looking forward to showing you all that even 12 year old girls can cook. The kitchen is my playground and I am ready to fire up that oven and show you what I can do!

Bon Appetit!
